Bishop Linda Nicholls elected as Coadjutor Bishop of Huron

Bishop Linda was ordained a deacon on Nov. 3, 1985. On November 15, 1986 she was ordained a priest and on Feb. 2, 2008 she was consecrated Bishop Suffragan for the Diocese of Toronto (Trent-Durham).  Bishop Linda is Co-chair of Anglican-Roman Catholic Dialogue in Canada, a member of Faith Worship and Ministry Committee, Anglican Church of Canada and Chair of Standing Committee on Religious Orders of the National House of Bishops. In 2011 she was appointed by the Archbishop of Canterbury to the Anglican Roman Catholic International Commission.  Bishop Nicholls received her Doctor of Ministry (Wycliffe College, University of Toronto, 2002) and Honorary Doctor of Divinity (Wycliffe College, University of Toronto, 2008).  Bishop Linda was ordained a deacon on Nov. 3, 1985.
